HIMSS 2024
I’ve attended almost every HIMSS conference since 2003. For many years, I had my companies go as exhibitors, which is a pretty massive commitment in terms of money, time, and resources. But even when I’ve gone just as an attendee, it’s not particularly cheap, plus there’s a real opportunity cost associated with tapping out from my normal work schedule for several days.
For the past 3 years I’ve skipped most trade shows and I wondered if I was missing out and should start going to HIMSS again. But before I make any big decision, I do research. So I did a quick poll with a few dozen health care leaders who went to HIMSS to figure out who they met with the most. I needed to figure out if the juice is worth the squeeze so to speak. Below is what I found out.
